Bridge Watch is a brand new project; a supportive presence patrolling the main London Bridges looking out for people who are showing intent to enter the water. Bridge Watch is spearheaded and led by Ascension Trust, with several partners, but (for the first time) open to volunteers of all faiths and none.
On Ascension Trust’s website, you can make an expression of interest. Paul Maloney is coordinator of Bridge Watch, and is just at the beginning of setting up training (to begin in November 2023), recruiting volunteers, engaging more partners, setting up structures and establishing this new project.
Let’s pray for Paul, that God will anoint him for this leadership role and make this project very fruitful in all kinds of ways, as different people work together to keep people safe in the heart of the city.??
